Hezbollah continues to work to destroy the Lebanese government. Last week 5 Hezbollah ministers resigned after failing to gain control of the Government. Now they have murdered Cabinet Minister Pierre Gemayel.

Hezbollah's rise to power is the culmination of a number of factors, not unlike so many political processes all over the world.
To argue that Hezbollah is destroying the Lebanese government contradicts the fact that Hezbollah is a significant political and social force in Lebanon. Hezbollah is currently operating hospitals, schools, and social service organizations; it is also providing a number of other crucial services that no other group is providing.
People in the west make not like Hezbollah, but thousands of Lebanese Shiites are grateful for its existence. The only way to remove the popular support groups like Hezbollah enjoy, is to take away their reason to exist.
First and foremost, this means we have to stop looking the other way when Israel bombs innocent Lebanese civilians with our weaponry. Groups like Hezbollah won't have so much of the people's hate to work with if we'd stop giving them reasons to hate us.
