Why didn't the Iraq Study Group say this - War sucks but a world run by Islam sucks more

I don't think I could say it better than T.F. Boggs, returning from his second tour of duty in Iraq:

"The Iraq Survey Group’s findings or rather, recommendations are a joke and could have only come from a group of old people who have been stuck in Washington for too long. The brainpower of the ISG has come up with a new direction for our country and that includes negotiating with countries whose people chant “Death to America” and whose leaders deny the Holocaust and call for Israel to be wiped from the face of the earth. Baker and Hamilton want us to get terrorists supporting countries involved in fighting terrorism! If I am the only one who finds something wrong with that then please let me know because right now I feel like I am the only person who feels this way.

Talking doesn’t solve anything with a crazed people, bullets do and we need to be given a chance to work our military magic. Like I told a reporter buddy of mine: War sucks but a world run by Islamofacists sucks more."

If those who know had written the report it might be worth reading.

Thank you T. F. Boggs !!

Unlike certain so-called leaders of some marginal political parties, Cpl. Mark Ejdrygiewicz has no time for weasel words...

"Any soldier that doesn't want to come back for another tour here, shouldn't have come in the first place."

I have to strongly disagree that you are alone in your feelings. Unfortunately our government appears to have agreed with you for the past seven years. I'm inclined to agree with our Polish friend, if we all took care of our own individual affairs, apologized for our own individual wrongs and made them right, this would accumulate into a world of order, that made sense.

As for negotiating with state sponsors of terrorism, has it ever occurred to you that America has been the most active terrorist organization in history? We have no more business killing innocent civilians in Afghanistan, Iraq (and now most likely Iran) than we did in so many other places throughout our short, bloody history as a nation.

I say we should take care of our own people and infrastructure first, and help those who want our help second. But last I looked, America is falling apart, and no one has asked for our assistance in the Middle East. We will either negotiate now, or surrendure later. It's gotten that bad. And anyone who says otherwise is lying to you.
