Why didn't the Iraq Study Group say this - War sucks but a world run by Islam sucks more

I don't think I could say it better than T.F. Boggs, returning from his second tour of duty in Iraq:

"The Iraq Survey Group’s findings or rather, recommendations are a joke and could have only come from a group of old people who have been stuck in Washington for too long. The brainpower of the ISG has come up with a new direction for our country and that includes negotiating with countries whose people chant “Death to America” and whose leaders deny the Holocaust and call for Israel to be wiped from the face of the earth. Baker and Hamilton want us to get terrorists supporting countries involved in fighting terrorism! If I am the only one who finds something wrong with that then please let me know because right now I feel like I am the only person who feels this way.

Zahra Kamalfar's Daughter tries to commit suicide as attempt made to deport them to Iran

Update. Yesterday the Russians tried to deport the Kamalfar family to Iran. However the 17 year old daughter tried to commit suicide and was so violently ill that they were not put on the plane and were given medical attention for the first time. They remain living in the airport.

The European Court of Human Rights in Strasbourg has just issued an order barring the deportation of Zahra Kamalfar and her children from Moscow for two weeks. A Russian attorney has taken her case and has 2 weeks to find political assylum for them.

Iranian Dissident Zahra Kamalfar and her 2 children have been trapped in the Moscow Airport for 73 days under horrifying conditions. Zahra faces return to jail in Iran. The UNHCR (UN Refugee Agency) has rejected her refugee appeal.

House Resolution 1080 will be voted on before Congress adjourns at the end of this year (before the holidays).

Will the Real Keith Ellison [aka Keith Hakim, Keith X Ellison and Keith Ellison Muhammad] Please Stand Up

For some reason I'm worried about Mr. Ellison being part of our government.

It could be because:

Mr. Ellison called for the release of Sara Jane Olsen aka Sister Soliah, a member of the urban guerrilla Symbionese Liberation Army who had pled guilty to placing bombs underneath two LAPD police cars.

Mr. Ellison also supports the cop killers Assata Shakur and Mumia Abu-Jamal.

Mr. Ellison was a member of Louis Farrakhan's rabidly anti-Semitic Nation of Islam.

Mr. Ellison is friendly with people who murdered policemen and those who have been engaged in domestic terrorism.

Mr. Ellison was the choice of the Saudi Wahhabist lobby in his run for Congress and has actively courted groups with Islamist sympathies, with ties to organizations like Hamas and those who believe that the U.S. Constitution should be replaced with Sharia law.

Mr. Ellison's most basic denial, that he was not affiliated with Farrakhan's Nation of Islam after 1995, is untrue since there are pictures of him at a 1998 protest march holding multiple copies of the Nation of Islam's newspaper, "The Final Call".

Mr. Ellison's dissembling in that regard casts doubt on everything that he says.

These are the types of people that Ellison is accepting support from. More importantly this apparently is Mr. Ellison's brand of Islam.

UN Responsible for Terror

Shame on the UN !

Last year, in its most recent bid for peace, Israel turned over the Gaza strip to the Palistinians. Since then over 1,700 rockets have been fired at the city of Sderot Israel from Gaza. This has caused much damage and most recently the death and maiming of several people. Thousands of people are fleeing from their homes.

And what does the UN do? The UN voted on Friday to call for an end to Israel's "assaults" against the residents of Gaza and an investigation into the mishap of last week that occurred during the course of an Israeli retaliation and deterrent attack against Kassam rocket attacks. A technical glitch had caused a mis-aimed fire.

And as for the idea that these people are innocent: 'Innocent Citizens' Protecting Terrorists? - There is No Such Thing.

Excuse me, but WHY are terrorist/murderers, who are killing people by shooting rockets into another country directly at its citizens, being protected by the UN ???

Why is the UN appeasing terrorists instead of standing up to them?

I repeat what I said in a post of last week:

Until the UN stands up to terrorists there will be no peace. It's about time that this organization takes responsibility and the blame for appeasing terrorists instead of standing up to them. If they can't do anything but talk, they should be quiet.

1,700 Rockets fired into Israel from the Gaza Strip

In the 14 months since the Gaza strip was handed over to the Palistinians, the Palistinians have fired 1,700 rockets into Israel hitting the city of Sderot and the surrounding area, causing much destruction. Now, the inevitable has finally happened.

In two rocket attacks on downtown Sderot, 57 year old Fatima Slutzker was killed, a 24 year old security officer was severely wounded resulting in the amputation of both his legs, and 6 others were injured.

In another attack a 17-year-old boy was seriously injured and two others lightly wounded when the third Kassam rocket attack of the day slammed into the center of Sderot.
One hour later, another rocket hit the city. No one was injured in the attack and no damage was reported, but residents were again traumatized by the unending attacks on their community.

Ashkelon was also attacked again. Fortunately no one was wounded, but damage was caused to at least one building, as well as a number of cars.

World Media, EU, UN and the World Community Responsible for Terror

Shame on you all.

Until the EU and UN stand up to terrorists there will be no peace. It's about time that these organizations take responsibility and the blame for appeasing terrorists instead of standing up to them. If they can't do anything but talk, they should be quiet.

For months, every day, Palestinian terrorists have fired Kassam rockets from Gaza into Israel, even if the media hardly bothers to report it. For months, every day, rockets have hit western Israel and the town of Sderot, injuring civilians. Close to 10 Kassam rockets have been fired at Sderot and other Israeli areas on each day of the past two weeks.

The IDF aims artillery fire at the launching grounds of the rockets, to prevent further fire on Israeli civilians.

Unfortunately, either a mechanical misfire or human error caused a house to be hit in Beit Hanoun, resulting in casualties. News reports state that the Palistinians are in shock. Why are they in shock? Because they know like everyone else that there is always a warning from the IDF, allowing civilians to clear the area, and there is great accuracy. Unfortunately the citizens of Israel don't have that warning.

International law states clearly, that the responsibility for harm to civilians is upon those who use them as human shields, and not upon those who fight [the terrorists].

As usual officials from the U.N., Britain and the EU quickly criticized Israel's action.

The U.N. Security Council scheduled an open meeting Thursday in response to Palestinian calls for it to condemn Israel's killing of 18 members of an extended family and demand the withdrawal of Israeli troops from the Gaza Strip.

EU External Relations Commissioner Benita Ferrero-Walner stated, "The killing this morning of so many civilians in Gaza, including many children, is a profoundly shocking event."

At least there was one statement of intelligence. "U.N. Special Co-ordinator for the Middle East Peace Process Alvaro de Soto urged the "Palestinian side" to stop attacking Israelis." But even this was buried in anti-Israel rhetoric.

There will be peace for Gaza when they stop firing rockets at Israel. This doesn't take too much common sense or intelligence to figure out.

The World Community should be demanding and enforcing the halt of Kassam attacks on Israel.

Until the EU and UN stand up to terrorists there will be no peace. It's about time that these organizations take responsibility and the blame for appeasing terrorists instead of standing up to them. If they can't do anything but talk, they should be quiet.

The world news media has responsibility and blame too, maybe even more so. Where are the daily reports of the rockets hitting Israel and the casualties? These reports should be in the media every day just as they are for every other country.

Shame on you all.

900,000 Jewish Refugees from Arab Countries

In 1948 and 1967 there were not only Palestinian refugees but also Jewish refugees from Arab countries – 600,000 of whom came to Israel. The State of Israel is putting the claims of Jews from Arab countries on the table, parallel to the claim by the Palestinians who left Israel.

The difference, is that no Jews want to go back to those countries. One can say that there was an exchange of populations for the sake of peace.

The United Nations High Commissioner For Refugees (UNHCR) states that an estimated 900,000 Jews were forced to leave their homes in Arab and Muslim countries in the course of the 20th century. Jews were robbed of more than $100 billion in personal and communal assets, by Arab and Muslim governments.

Editor of the Weekly Blitz in Bangladesh - Beaten, Arrested and Charged with Blasphemy, Sedition

In Bangladesh, Mr. Salah Uddin Shoaib Choudhury, a pro-Israel Muslim journalist was recently attacked and beaten by a crowd that included leading officials of the country's ruling party. Mr. Choudhury, editor of the Weekly Blitz newspaper, is facing charges of blasphemy, sedition, treason and espionage in connection with his articles critical of Islamic extremism and favorable to Israel.
If convicted, Mr. Choudhury faces the death penalty.

An Oct 18 article on Jpost.com by Michael Freund states:

Dr. Richard Benkin, an American human rights activist leading the fight for Choudhury's release, expressed grave concern about the current situation.

"Choudhury is unique because he has not fled to the West, but continues to oppose militant Islamists from inside the Muslim world," Benkin told the Post. "He feels that if he can defeat the radicals in their own back yard it will be a victory for peace and justice unlike any other thus far."

"More and more Muslims are looking at this case," Benkin said. "They want to see if Shoaib will get the support and protection he needs from the West. If he is victorious, other Muslims will try the same; if we allow him to go down, they will remain silent."

Entire Underground City Being Built in Gaza

Terrorists have been digging hundreds of tunnels between Gaza and Egypt to smuggle in weapons and rockets from Egypt into Gaza. Other tunnels connecting Gaza to Israel for the purpose of terrorist attacks, have also been discovered. In recent months IDF soldiers have found and destroyed many of them.

Now, the IDF army chief of staff, Dan Halutz, has stated before the foreign affairs and defence committee, that the terrorists are constructing an underground city in the Gaza Strip filled with weapons and anti-tank rockets.

Kidnapped Photographer Emilio Morenatti Freed

Emilio Morenatti, the AP photographer kidnapped in the Gaza Tuesday has been set free unharmed. He said his kidnappers only spoke Arabic, which he doesn't understand, and that he was blindfolded most of the time. At one point he was held in a small room and visited by masked men. He was also dressed in women's clothes and moved around from one secret place to another for a day. Then before midnight he was taken to the office of Palestinian President, Mahmoud Abbas. The Palestinian Prime Minister's office has made the statement that they know who the kidnappers are and will pursue them.

Who knows what the point of this kidnapping, like many others, was? At least he didn't have to convert to Islam to get released. Perhaps it was just a bad Halloween joke.

AP Photographer Kidnapped by Terrorists in Gaza

Emilio Morenatti, a Spanish photographer working for the Associated Press, was kidnapped this morning in Gaza. His photos have shown that he is trusted by the Palestinian terrorists - many of his photos show that he stands next to terrorists while taking pictures. Perhaps he will only have to convert to Islam to be released, like the last two journalists that were kidnapped?

Somalis Continue to Flee from Islamic Attacks

Poor Somalia continues to fight for its freedom from Islamic rule.

The Islamic Courts Union continues its attacks against towns in Somalia in its effort to take over the country. They have gained control of the capital and much of southern Somalia.

President Abdullahi Yusuf’s government (which is backed by the west) has retaken the town of Bur Haqaba from the Islamists. This is the first time the government forces have managed to remove Islamist fighters from a town. However, the Islamists are regrouping nearby and plan to attack Bur Haqaba and the government's base in provincial Baidoa town.

The Islamic Union has also declared holy war against Ethiopia because Ethiopia has designated them as terrorists. The US has accused Eritrea of shipping weapons to Somalia's Islamic militia in order to open up another front against Ethiopia.

Meanwhile, the United Nations High Commission for Refugees (UNHCR) has suspended the evacuation of refugees (mostly women and children) fleeing war-torn Somalia. The organization has postponed the evacuation of refugees from Liboi to Dadaab refugee camp indefinitely while they engage in consultations with the Kenyan Government to harmonize the exercise. This has caused a crisis along the Kenya-Somali border as refugees continue to flee.

The Islamic court has started its rule.
In Mogadishu, which was captured on June 5, the Islamic court has banned women from swimming at the main beach, to keep men and women from mingling, even though Somali women usually swim fully clothed.

Lynne has been sentenced to 28 months in jail for providing support to a terrorist group by helping her client, Omar Abdel-Rahman (who is serving a life sentence for plotting to blow up 5 New York landmarks and assassinate Egypt's president), to further his goals and to communicate with his terrorist organization.

She was carrying messages between him and top members of an Egyptian terrorist organization. Her defence - "their goals weren't my goals".

Judge John G. Koeltl gave the light sentence because in the past Lynne has worked for the poor, disadvantaged and unpopular clients.

Well Judge, that was her job, and I think she got paid for that work. Is there some reason to pay her twice?

dear young Muslims, when you abuse your rights, you loose them

The time of Ramadan is a high security concern for Israel. When young Moslems have joined in Ramadan prayers on Jerusalem's Temple Mount they have launched violent demonstrations, even hurling rocks and bricks at Jewish worshippers at the Western Wall below. Due to this, age restrictions have been placed for those entering the Temple Mount and only those over 40 years of age have entry. Now they are rioting over this.

Dear young Muslims, rights are not automatic. (This should not come as a shock or surprise to you, given the limitations of Islam.)

When you abuse the rights you have, you loose them. And if you want them back, you'll have to earn them.

Acting like civilized human beings might be a start.

If we're going to teach Islam in the schools, let's do it right

Several elementary schools have been "teaching" Islam by having students study and learn Islamic prayers from the Quran, dress as Muslims, take Muslim names and fast. This is being done under the guise of "history" classes and "cultural education". Parents are wondering, why does Islam have free rein and there is a ban on Christianity? Would it just be "education" for the children to study the bible, have practice baptisms, take the names of saints, or dress up as priests?

One teacher has said, "We do have an obligation to inform students of what is going on in our world today and how history and culture have affected that world."

If that is the case then let's teach Islam right. Let's teach them the section of the Quran that states Muslims must kill those who are not Muslims - the "nonbelievers". Let's teach them that many countries are being taken over by Muslims who set up totalitarian, military Islamic rule where there are few freedoms, especially for women, and where Christians are being murdered and their churches destroyed and burned. Let's tell them the story of Sharon and Shalom, a 14 and 15 year old Christian sister and brother in Pakistan. How they, their parents and two younger sisters were kidnapped by Muslims and told to convert to Islam. And how, when they refused, Sharon and Shalom were tortured, killed, and their bodies torched.

Yes, we do have the obligation to inform students of what is going on in our world today, and how history and culture affect the world.

In Belgium local elections the Vlaams Belang party has gained ground in almost all of the 308 municipal councils across Flanders. Vlaams Belang won 20 seats on the Antwerp city council. Unfortunately the Socialist Party defeated them winning 22 seats.

Vlaams Belang is a traditional conservative party that advocates independence for Flanders and limitations on immigration. It's leader Filip De Winter said the vote was a victory for his party: "This is not the big result that we expected but it is a status quo. Our party stands in a very important position and we are now incontestably a proper party. No celebrations, but a decent result." Vlaams Belang has been kept in opposition in Antwerp by a so-called rainbow coalition whose common aim is to keep the city out of the hands of the right.

One of the Vlaams Beland issues is to prevent the spread of Islam in Belgium. There are 400,000 Muslims who have immigrated to Belgium, many complaining about life in Belgium. The right says to the Muslims - "This is not a Muslim country. If you want to be happy with everybody else, you're welcome. But if you want to create an Arab Islamic state, go to an Arab Islamic state".

Many Belgium's were happy about the right's defeat saying, "live and let live". But if Islam ever takes over Belgium would the Islam policy be "live and let live"?
